The Goal

The goal is not to find someone to be perfect for, for there is really no such thing. Although they will think you are perfect to them - just as you are and who you like to be.

The goal is to find someone to be better for, for they will want to be better for you. That is the beauty of coming together - being great as one while working hard to reach astounding as two. The goal is not to find someone who substitutes happy, for that is not the right kind of love. The goal is to find someone who encourages peace, so you both can go to bed with ease.

The goal is to find someone who charges you - who leaves you on full instead of draining you to empty. The goal is to find the peak together - taking turns to carry whoever's backpack is most heavy. The goal is not to find someone to be perfect for, for there is really no such thing. The goal is to find someone who makes you want to try, while enabling your soul to sing.
